2025

NOELSE’s kitchen sink design was granted a U.S. patent (US 12,312,787). Artition granted a patent for its three-dimensional structural design in Japan.

2024

Returns to ICFF New York with NOELSE and D healing-basin. Hosts a NOELSE launch event at the Cosentino New York City showroom, drawing approximately 100 New York designers and architects.

2023

Launches NECELA — Japan’s first domestically produced ceramic-and-glass composite material. NOELSE and D healing-basin exhibited at ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) in New York.

2022

Artition wins the inaugural Good Design New Hope Award.

2021

Co-develops Artition, a splash-guard partition with an innovative curved-surface design, in partnership with Keio University (Associate Professor Hajime Narukawa).

2019

“THE SINK NOELSE” trademark registered (with Jun Hamada). NOELSE design registration granted.

2018

NOELSE registered as a utility model in Japan. First Corian® fabrication by Dainichi Kasei featured in “Peep,” an installation by design studio we+ at Milan Design Week (Salone del Mobile / Materials Village).

2014

Begins fabrication of Dekton® — the sintered stone material that would become central to NOELSE’s most demanding designs.

2011

Becomes an officially contracted fabricator of Silestone® in Japan.

2009

Successfully developed the industry’s first heat-formed solid surface sink — the technical foundation that later made NOELSE’s seamless fabrication possible.

2006

Masatsugu Hirasawa becomes President, carrying the fabrication craft forward as its third generation of leadership.

Reorganized and established as DAINICHI KASEI KOUGYOU CO., LTD. in its current corporate form.

Begin fabrication of DuPont Corian® solid surface — the start of a decades-long relationship with the material that would later define NOELSE.
